Who is KCTL?

Growing up around the bar scene, it’s no surprise that I found my way into bartending. My dad was a club promoter, so I was always around the nightlife. I can remember sneaking behind the bar as early as four or five, just fascinated by the beer taps and the bottles. Instead of playing with toys like most kids, I’d be mixing my mom’s expensive soap in the bath, pretending it was a cocktail. I didn’t know it at the time, but that was the beginning of something big.
Fast forward a few years, and bartending felt like a natural fit for me. I started in the service industry when I was young and quickly realized this wasn’t just a job, it was where I truly came alive. But even though I loved the craft, I felt a little restricted working in corporate or privately owned bar spaces. There was so much untapped creativity and not enough room to explore, so I decided to make my own space. That’s when KCTL Bartending was born.
As a sober bartender, I don’t just make drinks, I see every cocktail as a science experiment. I approach it with the precision of a chemist, breaking down flavors and textures.
At KCTL Bartending, it’s not about getting people drunk, it’s about making moments memorable. It’s about crafting experiences that leave a lasting impression. The people I work with aren’t just looking for a drink, they’re looking for something unique. And that’s what I strive to give them every time.
